One has to type 127.0.0.1 followed by URL and the particular web page gets blocked. For example if one wish to block the site of orcut then they should type 127.0.0.1.www.orcut.com and the particular web page gets blocked.  Then one has to save and exit out. In this way many other web pages can be blocked.

When the person reboots the computer then the block webpages show dns error when they are accessed.  In the similar manner one can block the web pages on fire fox, windows vista, any personal site etc.  Hence it is very simple and easy to block webpages.
